Photography sessions are now available on our 100-acre farm, with a special focus on family Christmas photos amid our picturesque Christmas tree farm. Capture lasting memories surrounded by open natural spaces and the festive charm of the holiday season. Our farm also offers beautiful settings for spring, summer and fall photography, with colorful foliage, blooming landscapes, and wide-open spaces perfect for family, engagement, or milestone sessions.

Farm Guidelines

PHOTOGRAPHY FEE:

We charge $50 per hour.

BOOKING DETAILS:

Bookings are available in one, two, three and four hour time slots. To make the most of your time, please remember to include setup and cleanup—especially if you're bringing props—when planning your session. If you are interested in photography sessions, we have online booking below.

WAIVER:

Photographers will need to sign a waiver before their session. We will include the waiver to sign in your confirmation email and you can download it above as well.

WHEN TO BOOK:

Spring/Summer/Fall

From March through early November, our 100-acre farm offers a stunning backdrop for your photos. Enjoy a open fields with tall grasses, vibrant rows of summer flowers, and maple trees that blaze in brilliant orange and red each fall. For our spring, summer, and fall sessions, we offer flexible weekday and weekend availability from 8 a.m. until dusk. Simply choose from our one-, two-, or three-hour options below, then select your preferred date and time.

Christmas Time Weekdays (Monday-Thursday)

Who wouldn’t want their holiday card photos taken at a magical Christmas tree farm? Our weekday winter photography sessions give you access to both our pre-cut Christmas tree rows and our choose-and-cut fields. The highlight is the pre-cut rows, featuring gorgeous 6–10 ft Fraser and Balsam trees—perfect for a cozy, festive backdrop. We also have our charming wooden sleigh set up for an extra holiday touch. This option is available from November 21, 2025 until we sell out for the season (typically by mid-December). If you are interested in shooting in our pre-cut rows, please ONLY book on a weekday using our one, two, or three hour options below.

Christmas Time Weekends (Friday-Saturday)

As you can imagine, weekends at our Christmas Tree Farm are our busiest time of year. To keep things running smoothly for our tree-shopping guests, weekend photography sessions are held in our two choose-and-cut fields. These fields feature small, medium, and a few large trees, and to ensure plenty of space for your shoot, we limit the number of photographers at a time. Weekend spots fill quickly, so be sure to book early!

**Please note: A photographer isn’t included. This space is perfect for photographers working with their own clients.**

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are dogs or other pets allowed during sessions?
A: Absolutely! Well-behaved pets are welcome. We just ask that they remain on leash and that you clean up after them.

Q: Can I bring props or furniture for my shoot?
A: Yes! You’re welcome to bring your own props, small furniture, or backdrops—just remember to include setup and cleanup time in your booking. When scheduling online, you’ll also find add-on options we can set up for you, such as a vintage couch or a custom flower bouquet on a vintage table.

Q: What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
A: We get it—weather can be unpredictable! We’ll do our best to accommodate rescheduling if needed. Please email us at TreesForLessMequon@gmail least 24 hours in advance. If you are a no show or do not contact us to reschedule, your payment will be retained.

Q: Your farm is big—where can I shoot?
A: When you arrive, you’ll check in at the barn (if you come in summer/fall) or at the front cabin (Christmas). We’ll provide you with a map and highlight seasonal locations we recommend for your shoot. You’re also welcome to stop by during business hours on another day for a quick tour so you can plan your spots in advance.

Q: Who has to sign a waiver?
